MASSIVE INTEREST DRIVING RAPID EXPANSION
To assist its nationwide search for franchisees Revive has appointed Franchise Development Services (FDS), which has 27 years of experience in the industry. FDS FranMatch Executive David Paulson has commented that the interest in Revive has been 'massive' and that the company is set to open 10 locations by September and 15 by the end of the year through a mixture of franchise and company-owned stores.

Five Revive franchisees are currently at the stage of finding suitable premises to open outlets. Although this is often a difficult process for business owners, Revive franchisees have the advantage of securing prime locations through the company's good relationship with landlords and shopping centres.

Potential franchisees do not need to have had business experience to be considered, however it could be an advantage. Prior to launching their business franchisees will complete a comprehensive training module in a trading Revive outlet with a full time training manager. Additionally franchisees will receive a further two weeks' training held at their new store location.

Further support includes: a complete turnkey package including site selection and store fit, extensive research into each location including footfall of proposed site, assistance with financial illustrations, a comprehensive training programme covering all aspects of owning and operating a Revive franchise, operations manual for easy reference, full use of the company's brand, logo, imagery and trademark, new products as and when developed, ongoing training and support, conference calls to discuss new products and ideas, strong profit margins and industry leading equipment.

Q: What area is your franchise to be based in?
AU: The Glades Shopping Centre in Bromley.

Q: When will you launch your franchise?
AU: We are currently in the process of shopfitting and aim to have our store trading in August 2008

Q: What attracted you to the juice bar industry?
AU: Providing healthy juices on the go is a new concept in the UK and as such the market is not diluted at the moment.

Q: What made the Revive franchise stand out?
AU: The company has a great track record of delivering quality shop fi ts with a well planned operational layout.Their comprehensive product range tasted much better than the other operators I tried in the market. Also Revive is very successful at attracting customers through their marketing campaigns, loyalty cards, and offering consistency in their products all year round.

Q; What is your impression of the head office team?
AU: I always thought that starting a franchise would be hard work however due to the professionalism of the head office team and their willingness to help, so far this has been a streamlined process.

Q: How well prepared do you feel for launching your business?
AU: Revive has been doing most of the pre-launch marketing campaign and I have a lot of confidence in them. What I've seen and heard of their previous launches have been very good and successful. Revive are already promoting my launch on their website.

Q: What premises/location have you secured and how vital was Revive's assistance and track record in acquiring the lease?
AU: The location I have was initially going to be for a company-owned store, but it was decided that it would be perfect for a franchisee, therefore I was given it. The location is in a really good spot and it was through Revive's proven record of successful outlets, as well as the strength of the brand, that we got it over many other operators who had bid for the same location

Q: What are your targets for your Revive franchise and ambitions for expansion?
AU: I am hoping that my fi rst store this year will be a success and then I want to look into opening two more stores next year.
