A teenage entrepreneur has been the latest franchise owner to join the Revive! network.

Jag Jhuti, who joined the car and van body repair franchise at the age of 19, has just launched his business in Staffordshire.

Following a month of training at the Revive! Institute of Motoring Industry approved training centre in Rugby, Jhuti has already started repairing minor paint work damage and scuffs to all different kinds of vehicles.

Jhuti previously worked in a warehouse for Parcel Force but has wanted to run his own business for a number of years. He said: “I had looked at a number of franchise opportunities and went to a national conference to see what my options were. I have always been interested in cars and Revive! seemed like the perfect fit for me. I have wanted the freedom of working for myself for several years.

“Before I started work I spent several years in college where I studied paint spraying and repairing bodywork on cars. I have always enjoyed working on cars and Revive! gives me the opportunity to start a business in a field I feel comfortable with and already know a lot about.

“The team at the head office Revive! have been superb and helped me to get started. Thanks to help and top quality training I feel really confident about taking on the challenge of running my own business for the first time.

“There has been a lot of interest already. I have been busy every day and I have had a great start even though I have been up and running for just a few weeks.

“Going into business for myself was a massive step to take and even though it is still early days I couldn’t be more thrilled with the way it has gone for me. I was quite nervous going into this but I am really glad with the way things have gone and can’t wait to start building the business up.

“The plan is to expand the business. I will spend the first nine months to a year getting myself established and building up a healthy customer base and I will be looking to expand. The plan is to take on an extra van and have another technician on the road working for me.”
