Revive! UK, the leading mobile paint repair franchise, continues to thrive as network sales maintain growth in 2014: a year of some fantastic groundbreaking achievements by the pioneers in the Smart Repair sector.

Revive! celebrated its 10th Anniversary at the Annual Conference, and Team Cambridge took top honours at the 150-strong motivational conference and awards evening.

Nathan Holmes and his Cambridge business were awarded the prestigious Franchisee of the Year award, having grown the business significantly in recent years, despite the recession: piloting new initiatives and establishing a retail unit, which he saw as a natural evolution.

He comments: “We have worked hard as a team to develop a strong name for technical excellence and outstanding customer service in the Cambridge area and the number of mobile vans has grown to four. In the last year we saw an opportunity to develop a strong partnership with a local dealer and at the same time develop a retail unit. It has been a huge success on all fronts as our workload has increased dramatically; although we had strong sales growth over the past few years, last year really saw us move to another level with the business.”

Revive! Cambridge was also shortlisted for the British Franchise Association HSBC Franchisee of the Year Awards in the Customer Service category. Commenting on the team’s customer service, Nathan says: “Customer service is the cornerstone of our business and I’ve spent a lot of time developing procedures that ensure we are efficient and reliable.

“However, systems alone can only take you so far. That’s why each new team member is fully trained to go the extra mile for customers and always treat them professionally and courteously. Simple things like calling ahead if you’re going to be late and cleaning up after yourself can make a big difference.”

The Cambridge Team was joined by Matt Woodall and the Bath franchise at the awards. Mark was nominated in the Young Franchisee category, having established his business five years ago at the age of 21, soon after graduating from university during the economic downturn. Initially he worked alone, providing mobile vehicle repairs from his specially-equipped van. His turnover grew 50-65 per cent annually, and by 2012 he was ready to take on a second van and his first employee.

Matt is ambitious for the future and believes his Business Administration degree has helped him with aspects including developing a business plan. He has built good relationships with local car dealerships and his vibrant social media presence is instrumental in generating business. Matt invests much time promoting the business and often works evenings, finding many retail customers prefer appointments at this time.

Revive! Managing Director Mark Llewellyn comments: “Nathan and Matt fully deserve their success this year which is the culmination of many years’ hard work for both. The exciting thing is that there are still significant opportunities for them to fulfil.

“Looking back on ten years it’s quite incredible to see how far we have come. We’ve proactively driven up standards in the cosmetic repair industry, and now have the UK’s largest network of accredited smart repairers. Business is thriving and we expect our growth trajectory to continue well into the future. I’m proud to be at the helm of such a progressive and successful business, delivering real opportunities to franchisees and excellent service to customers.”
