Right at Home UK becomes 'five star franchise'

The company achieved the accolade after receiving a strong vote of confidence from its local owners in the independent Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark survey 2014.

Right at Home UK, which operates a growing network of quality home care providers across the UK, received an overall score of 95 per cent satisfaction across seven key areas.

In the General Satisfaction category it received an impressive 99 per cent response, with responses coming in at 22 per cent higher overall than the home care industry average. Run by franchise specialists Smith & Henderson, the satisfaction benchmark survey assesses how the franchise is performing through the eyes of its franchise owners.

It covers seven critical areas: training and support; product and services; marketing; franchisee-franchisor relations; stewardship and rewards. Its high score means Right at Home now ranks among the UK’s premier Five Star Franchises, which Managing Director and Master Franchisor Ken Deary hopes will give prospective franchisees confidence when considering making the significant leap to invest in a franchise and run their own business.

Deary said: “Our franchisees came into the home care sector because they want to make a positive difference to people’s lives, but when your experience and skills lie in a different area then starting afresh in a new sector can seem a daunting prospect.”

But that is why we are here - a good franchisor will use their initial training and early support to guide the new franchisee into a position where they understand the sector and know how to set about their goals, then support them through the start-up process and the recruitment of an experienced care manager.

“Our franchise model is proven by more than 400 Right at Home offices around the world, but importantly it is now also formally endorsed both by our franchisees, as testified in the Smith & Henderson Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark Survey, and the British Franchise Association, which recently awarded us full member status and the title Emerging Franchisor of the Year 2014.”

Deary, himself a former bfa Franchisee of the Year, added: “The first 12 months of any business is highly challenging, but we have a 100 per cent success rate in establishing new offices and are seeing very strong second year growth.

With the future growth of the senior care market and the early-years potential shown by some of our franchisees, this is a golden opportunity to grow a highly successful business with the added value of delivering quality services to vulnerable people in your local community.”
