Right at Home continues global growth

Following its expansion into the UK market, Right at Home has recently signed a Master Franchise deal that will see it enter into China.

Right at Home, which is a US-based company that provides an in-home senior care service, entered the UK market through its UK Master Franchise Owner Ken Deary.

When Right at Home expands into China it will be the first US-based company in its sector with a Master Franchise partner in the country. Allen Hager, Right at Home CEO and Chairman, said: “This agreement and what it represents is incredibly exciting.

“The Chinese have very strong filial piety, or respect, for their parents, so there is a cultural predisposition towards caring for the elderly within the family structure. People in China prefer to stay in their homes rather than move into an institutional environment, so there’s an increasing demand for professional in-home elderly care assistance.”

With more than 200 local independent franchise owners in North America, Europe and South America, the Chinese agreement expands Right at Home to four continents. According to the company it aims to have over 100 franchise locations in the UK over the next 10 years, which it expects will create up to 5,000 jobs.

Ken Deary, who is based in Preston, said: “This shows the commitment the company has to support its franchise owners and build the global brand.

“The Right at Home business model offers a unique proposition to the care industry, we provide quality in-home care and assistance to the elderly and disabled adults who still wish to live independently.”

Opportunities exist throughout the UK to become a Right at Home franchise owner. Deary added: “You don’t need a social care background to be a Right at Home franchise owner in the UK – we will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support – but you do need the ability to manage people and the desire to provide the highest levels of quality care.

“The rewards include the satisfaction of making a difference to people’s lives resulting in financial success from outstanding delivery.”
