USA-based home care provider franchise, Right at Home, is looking for franchise owners based in the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands to aid its expansion.

Right at Home has already launched a location in Preston, Lancashire, which has trading for 10 months. The company is now looking to expand on this location by opening over 100 franchises around the UK over the next 10 years.

Ken Deary, Managing Director of Right at Home UK, said: “With Government and local authority funds drying up, it will be vital that we fill that gap with quality private care in a person’s own home and truly dedicated staff who understand the needs of our growing aged population.”

Right at Home UK says besides offering high quality personal care, companionship and home help from one hour up to 24/7, it also offers respite and dementia care and is increasingly helping disabled students lead and active academic life at colleges and universities.

The company says it pride itself on providing carers who are prepared to do whatever is necessary to maintain their client’s independence, security and comfort.

Deary added: “We are extremely careful about taking on the right people, both as franchise owners and employees, ensuring that we only use quality staff who are then fully trained to our exacting standards. We are not offering a get rich quick franchise, but one that will require hard, dedicated work that will bring both financial and personal rewards.

“Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Very few of our franchise owners have healthcare experience. They don’t need it – because it’s what Right at Home’s management team provides through its extensive training, systems and on-going support. What our franchise owners do need is a passion for providing the highest quality care while managing a busy homecare business.”
