Salon franchising awards to return in 2010

The date has been announced for the 2010 edition of The Sapphires Awards, which reward franchising excellence in the hairdressing salon sector. The event, which was launched in 2009, will take place on 14th June at The Dorchester in London. As well as the presentation of awards to salon franchisors and franchise owners, the event has expanded to encompass a seminar during the day to expand awareness and provide expert advice for salon owners considering franchising their business and individuals interested in investing in a salon franchise. Confirmed speakers include NatWest Franchise Director Mark Scott and Franchise Development Services consultant Nick Williams.

The awards will be presented at a formal ceremony in the evening, with trophies including Best use of technology, Best local marketing, Best corporate image and Most effective website, plus Franchisor of the Year and Franchise Owner of the Year.
