BFA Award Finalist for ServiceMaster Clean’s Nick Dee Shapland!
ServiceMaster Clean Reading and Newbury, owned by Nick Dee Shapland, has reached the final in the HSBC Franchisee of the Year Award for Customer Service, organised by the British Franchise Association (bfa).
Nick Dee Shapland is one of 17 finalists selected across five new national categories, with the winners competing for the right to be crowned the UK’s overall 2013 Franchisee of the Year and take home £10,000, courtesy of HSBC.
The bfa explains: “The finalists reflect the high standards found in ethical franchising in the UK. They have demonstrated exceptional business practice, acting as outstanding ambassadors for their sectors, areas of expertise and for the specific award categories. Each category winner will receive £1,000 and a trophy, also from HSBC.”
Shapland said: “I am delighted to represent ServiceMaster and to have reached the final for the Customer Service Franchisee Award. It is a great honour for myself and my team and the ServiceMaster brand overall. It’s fantastic!”
The award identifies excellence in customer service and looks at those who go above and beyond expectations who not only drive new customer bases and retain valued clients, but also have a direct positive impact on the franchise.
Each category winner will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner at the ICC in Birmingham on Thursday 3rd October when the overall HSBC Franchisee of the Year, chosen from the five category winners, will also be announced.
