The franchise owner of Signs Express Gateshead, Malcolm Lant, has been named as the regional finalist for the prestigious British Franchise Association (bfa) Franchisee of the Year Awards.

Held annually, the bfa Franchisee of the Year Awards recognises excellence in the franchising sector and the commitment of franchise owners who ‘set the standard’ for best practice in the industry.

Commenting on being a finalist, Lant said: “I am absolutely delighted to be a finalist. Through hard work and determination my team and I have been able to rise through the recession building a very successful, strong business; continuing to provide excellent quality products with exceptional customer service which has resulted in high levels of repeat business and referrals.”
