Sliding Sash Solutions Managing Director Dermot Cooke and his team recently repaired and improved 10 sash windows for a satisfied customer in Reigate.

Both the top and bottom sashes were eased and adjusted as necessary and the mid-rails were realigned. New sash cords were fitted and the sashes were re-weighted and rebalanced. The Solutions Brush Pile System was installed to all the windows. Without changing the original windows or their appearance the Solutions Brush Pile System virtually eliminates drafts and rattles, reduces outside noise levels and increases energy efficiency. Finally, traditional style catches, finger lifts and restrictor locks were fitted to each window.
Delighted with the end result the customer told Dermot that when she moved back into the room and decorated it she noticed a massive improvement, especially because the windows did not rattle anymore.
