Smart ABC's rapid expansion prompted the development of a more comprehensive Training Academy, it became clear that the new premises were essential to help sustain the phenomenal growth. Subsequently, Smart ABC have invested in a brand new bespoke facility catering for all aspects of the business. The premises have been created with the very latest technology and equipment providing for the most discerning individual.

Throughout an Open Day Nick tells the Smart ABC story without any frills. He has always been a "petrol head", he trained as a mechanic, repairing trucks, then fell into selling high end motor cars - Rolls Royce, Ferrari and went on to become a branch manager. It was Nick's father in Law who first brought along the idea of mobile paint repair from the U.S. When Nick recognised a gap in the market three years ago he encouraged his Father in Law, Ivan Shaw out of retirement to join him in his new venture. The research and development of the system, equipment and product was extensive and once Nick's exacting standards had been met in September 2008 Smart ABC was officially launched into a marketplace still in its infancy.
Sixty two Franchise partners currently operate in the UK, Smart ABC has also recently launched into the Republic of Ireland. The Smart ABC team are proud that their success has already attracted heavy interest from overseas investors, Nick is in talks with various business professionals looking to launch the brand into their own countries.
The repair system that Nick designed is as simple as it is ingenious: with a Spectrometer and special software the paint is analysed. The program calculates the exact formula from the total 66 paint and thinner components that every Smart ABC technician has on board their mobile workshop, using this kind of technology assists Franchisees who have had no experience in the paint industry previously. In fact many visitors at Open Days watching the system in action are amazed at the colour matching and indeed the whole repair process. Not only are the visitors impressed by the results but they also have a better understanding after watching the process from start to finish how user friendly the system is.
Nick comments "Anyone can essentially learn this technique within a very short space of time, we provide all new Franchisees with 3 weeks training, based at our new Training Academy in the West Midlands. With the acquired know how and the equipment we provide, our Franchisees can launch theirbusiness 4 weeks after starting training and make money from day one!"
Nick's plan for the next four to five years is to be able to offer Smart ABC services nationwide. The British market is ready for 300 to 400 Franchisees that offer the unique Smart ABC Lifetime Guarantee.
