Business is going so well!

Area: Hull, Grimsby & Lincoln
"Before joining Snack-in-the-Box in April 2008, I owned and managed a franchised petrol station for 10 years. The franchisor wanted to buy back the franchised stations, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity for me to try something a little different but still in a franchise environment. I had enjoyed working within a franchise business model, as it gave me the flexibility of being self employed but with the support of a franchise network.
"I first found out about SITB in The Franchise Magazine and the confectionery franchise immediately appealed to me. On my week's training course in Havant, Hampshire, I learned all I needed to know to run my SITB franchise efficiently – from machine setup and maintenance to general admin, VAT and customer service.
"I decided to go with the SITB vending option as it best suited my circumstances. With a wide and consistent customer base, I have been able to expand my business into new territories and have recently acquired additional new business in the Lincoln area. Most of the time I find my own clients but SITB is always on hand to help generate business and find new client leads.
"I am easily hitting my turnover targets and any money I make goes straight back into the business to buy more vending machines and expand my client base further. Business is going so well that sometimes my dad, John, offers to lend a hand."
