Stenders' Manager wins top award

Stenders' Business Development Manager has won a top award recognising her work in growing the franchise. Gundega Ceplevica was presented with the Sales Tiger 2009 award, which is a Latvian award given to managers who have helped increase company sales. As part of her competition application, Gundega presented the work she had done in introducing and developing the Latvia-based franchise into the China market.

Reflecting on entering and winning the award Gundega said: 'It was a chance to gain assurance about my abilities. At the same time, of course, I was thinking of the additional promotion I could give to the company. Just like any marketing specialist, I yearned for securing the final aim, in this case, the finishing line that would give me an opportunity to spread the information on the company's development to a wider target audience.'

Stenders is a retail franchise that sells beauty products made from natural ingredients. The company is currently looking for franchise owner candidates to aid its UK expansion.
