Swisher UK acquired by Environmental Biotech

Hygiene service franchise group Environmental Biotech has taken over the UK operations of cleaning service franchise Swisher.

Swisher is an established global franchise which has been operating in the UK through a Master Franchise licence for over 10 years. The acquisition of the Master licence by Environmental Biotech will see the network re-branded to B-Environmental Swisher and its franchisees introduce Environmental Biotech's B-Environmental product range.

'The strategically planned acquisition of Swisher lifts Environmental Biotech to new heights in hygiene provision,' said the company owner Aziz Tejpar (pictured). 'Our product line is a phenomenal fit with Swisher. Swisher's model had been focused on bathroom hygiene, but we want to expand to the Swisher service into lateral markets using our B-Environmental product solutions.' Environmental Biotech is promising Swisher franchise owners an improved support structure bolstered by sophisticated technologies, such as handheld staff and efficiency monitoring systems.

The new branding will preserve the current Swisher logo but introduce the B-Environmental tagline. All new franchise owners will operate with the new logo and existing franchise owners will phase it in over the next 12 months as they replace vehicles and stock.

'There are still lots of territories to award and we're planning to bring in at least 20 new franchise owners per year for the next three years,' said Aziz. 'I am looking for enthusiastic individuals with the attitude to really take this business and run with it.'
