Continuing with its UK expansion plans, Synergy Solar has recruited a new franchise owner to own and operate its Hull and York territory.

Sarah Mitton who now owns the Synergy Solar Hull and York franchise, will run her business with help from her team of three employees. Mitton already has experience of running a business, having previously owned a newsagents. As well this, she has worked for seven years as a sales team leader, which combined with her concern for the environment, made her a perfect candidate to own a Synergy Solar franchise.

Mitton said: “I’m really excited to be launching my own business within an industry that continues to grow despite the economic downturn.

“Not only am I interested in the future of the environment, but I feel it is necessary for everyone to be aware of renewable energy technology, how affordable it is and the amazing difference that it makes to our environment. I’m hoping that running a franchise for both the Hull and York areas will help me to take this message to much larger audiences.”
