She says: 'Since I decided to invest in a The Snippet franchise I have more free time and money to do things I was not able to do working for someone else. I work from my study at home and on a Friday morning distribute the 2000 copies of the magazine in my area. When it is the school holidays, my daughter enjoys helping me distribute the magazine.

'In terms of training and support I received an operations manual and bespoke training tailored to suit my strengths and weaknesses. The ongoing support has been excellent and I was even given help finding distributors and locations to place the magazine stands.

The franchise opportunity is not a home publishing business as the editorial; design layout and printing of the magazine are completed by the franchisor. This leaves the franchisee to sell advertising space and distribute the free magazine around their area in venues such as doctor and dentist waiting rooms, gyms, pubs, cafes and local businesses.
