Franchise Opportunities Live is a new event that allows budding entrepreneurs the chance to meet franchisors in a face-to-face environment

Franchise Opportunities Live, taking place on September 7 and 8 at the Radisson Blu Edwardian, Heathrow, provides prospective franchise owners the chance to meet in person several businesses that match their interests.

The event provides a key opportunity for any aspiring franchise owner to ask questions about the business and structure of one of the exhibiting organisations at an early stage, and to assess the dynamics of the working relationship.

Visitors interested in running their own business as a franchise owner will be able to find out more about the opportunities available. They will be able to progress their plans by holding a series of valuable in-depth one-to-one meetings, with carefully selected businesses that meet their criteria.

The appointments will give visitors the chance to gain answers to all of their questions. They can gather information from franchisors about key issues such as the finance options, what kind of training is on offer, what ongoing support is provided, and request details of existing franchise owners in the network who can be contacted.

Under one roof

Aspiring franchise owners will be able to hold meetings with opportunities from a broad range of franchise sectors including property, retail, finance, home care and travel.

Visitors can have confidence in the franchise opportunities available; as the event is supported by the British Franchise Association (bfa), only franchise companies that have met the bfa's code of ethics are allowed to exhibit.

To provide visitors with a comprehensive insight into all the aspects of becoming a successful franchise owner, there will also be a series of seminars covering franchising issues hosted by the bfa.

The programme covers topics ranging from what to consider when choosing a franchise and why and when to seek legal advice; to how to obtain funding and access financial help. These seminars will provide all the support and guidance visitors need to run a successful franchise business.
