"Before I joined Well Polished, I was a fundraiser for a charity. Fed up with the internal politics I began to reconsider my future career and decided becoming self-employed might hold the answer. I did not have the confidence to start up a business from scratch, so I decided to talk to my boyfriend’s friend, Nick Gregory who owns a Well Polished franchise, to get an indication of what running a franchise would be like. Nick was very complimentary about the Well Polished franchise, which prompted me to contact the company founder Sandra Venables. I love being my own boss. The flexibility is brilliant – I now work the hours I want from home, so I can take my children to school in the morning and work around any other family commitments."
