The professional face of cleaning. Well Polished continues to grow in the credit crunch
Keen to continue expanding, Well Polished seeks franchisees to help turn its vision of a nationwide network into a reality. In exchange Well Polished offers an attractive franchise package with minimal overheads and positive cash flow
With one in three dual income households employing domestic help according to a study commissioned by The Work Foundation, the domestic cleaning services sector continues to go from strength-to-strength. In fact over the last 12 months, domestic cleaning franchise Well Polished is ahead of its franchise sales targets and continues to gain new customers despite the unstable economic climate.
Established in 2004, Well Polished is a management domestic cleaning introductions agency franchise. Director Sandra Venables explains: 'The franchise network is doing well. Our franchisees continue to gain new custom from people who have been forced to go back to work because of the credit crunch. These people are prepared to pay us for a cleaning service, if it means they have more quality time to spend with their families. Our service is competitively priced and highly professional, giving all of the customer-focused advantages of a large company-owned operation alongside the personal touches of a privately contracted cleaner. We offer clients different sized contracts from as little as two hours per week.
'We have big plans for the future, over the next five years, we aim to recruit at least 71 new franchisees building our UK franchise network up to 80 franchisees. We also plan to expand internationally and are in the process of developing Master Franchise licenses for other countries. We are on the look out for hardworking, well organised prospective franchisees to help us achieve our expansion plans. Ideally, candidates will have good people and management skills and a full UK driving licence. A background in sales and marketing would also be beneficial.
'Our franchisees do not do any of the cleaning. Their role is to act as the professional face of the business and match the householders to suitable cleaners and from then on, manage the contracts to ensure the customers receive a quality clean every week.'
The low overheads and positive cash flow of the Well Polished business coupled with its bespoke management software system, which simplifies the administration side of the business, means it is a suitable opportunity for those looking to take control of their future and work from home who have no previous experience of running their own business.
The franchise package provides Well Polished franchisees with everything they need to get their franchise running effectively. Benefits include: marketing tools, a four day comprehensive training course at head office, ongoing support; use of the Well Polished website including a personalised homepage; use of its award-winning business model; initial cleaner uniforms and 20,000 promotional leaflets.
