Crepe a Croissant launches ambitious franchising strategy
Crepe a Croissant has launched an ambitious franchising strategy aimed at driving forward its rapid expansion with a search for the next generation of entrepreneurs to take its business forward nationally and internationally.
The Glasgow-based authentic creperie and sandwich bar currently has four outlets across the city and is now looking for individuals to take on a franchise and expand the company into new areas.
Co-founder Keshan Nahar said: 'Crepe a Croissant is now a well-established brand that has a proven track record. What we are looking for now is people that want to work for themselves and not by themselves, but benefit from the experience and support that we can provide.'
14 years old this year, Crepe a Croissant currently has branches in Woodlands Road, Byres Road, Hope Street and St Enoch Square.
Nahar said the firm was looking for people that wanted to develop whole geographical areas rather than taking on a single outlet, but said applications would be considered on merit.
The firm has also developed a successful outside catering business providing for both corporate and private clients hosting meetings and parties alike. It has led the way in offering a free wireless broadband connection to patrons in its Byres Road and Hope Street branches, and caters for Glasgow's late night workers with a newly launched corporate loyalty card.
'Huge amounts of work have been put in to getting the business grounded on the steady footing it enjoys today,' said Nahar. 'What we now want to do is develop the scope of the brand and we think franchising the operation will let us do that most effectively and attract the type of driven and entrepreneurial people we are seeking.'
