Yo! Sushi lands at Heathrow
Iconic Japanese restaurant chain YO! Sushi is to open a brand new restaurant at Heathrow Terminal2: The Queen’s Terminal in June 2014.
For the first time ever at YO! Sushi, airline passengers will be able to pre-order their food online before they arrive, ensuring their order will be ready for takeaway as soon as they come through security. For those wanting to dine in, our team of kitchen ninjas who will use a tablet to place the order directly with the kitchen can take any hot food or bespoke orders.
Serving up more than 80 different dishes on YO! Sushi’s signature ‘kaiten’ conveyor belt, travellers will be able to choose from a range of Japanese inspired items including delicious hot food such as soups, rice, noodle-based dishes with or cold items like the famous YO! Roll, Sesame Salmon Sashimi, Kaiso Salad, Prawn Tempura and hot classics like best-sellers Chicken Katsu Curry, Salmon Teriyaki and Yakisoba noodles.
Alison Vickers, Business Development Director at YO! Sushi said: “We are delighted to be expanding our Heathrow offering as our existing site in Terminal 3 has been a key factor to the success of the brand in the UK. Our fun, fresh and fast menu options are proving a hit with international passengers who are strapped for time so our Terminal 2 restaurant design and service reflects this.’
Muriel Zingraff, Heathrow Retail Director said: ‘YO! Sushi’s work to develop an offer specific to passengers about to fly has been impressive. They have a refreshing approach to healthy eating which we felt suited Heathrow’s work to transform the dining experience for travellers.’
