Entrepreneurial culture is on the up in the UK, with almost 40 per cent of us having considered starting our own business, according to government research conducted by Business Link. This translates into 18.5 million people across the country who have either launched their own business, or want to.
Of the perceived barriers to starting up a business, the top scoring deterrent was identified as 'financial pressure' (68 per cent). This was followed by 'stress and worry' (41 per cent) and 'legislation and employment regulations' (30 per cent). If these concerns ring true with you, then consider a franchise.
By investing in a franchise, you will be accessing a business model with established systems and procedures for dealing with regulations, that has already been proven to succeed in the UK marketplace, and could attract up to 70 per cent of initial investment funding from the banking industry.
