Caremark franchise owners from across the UK attended to company’s Fourth Annual Conference, which was entitled ‘Excellence through Leadership’. The Conference, which was held at the Belfry Hotel near Birmingham last month, featured a number of presentations to inspire Caremark’s franchise owners to forge ahead in the home care market.

In excess of 70 delegates attended the Conference, which was followed by a gala dinner and awards ceremony in the evening. Throughout the day, the support team, together with guest speakers delivered key presentations illustrating the importance of following the Caremark methodology as a means of maximising business growth and achieving excellence.

“There was a good range of topic on the agenda and the manner in which they were each presented was most informative,” said Calum Gray, franchise owner of Caremark Winchester and Eastleigh . “Gathering the network together represents a rare opportunity to get your message across face-to-face and I feel that the head office team grabbed the opportunity very successfully.”

During the Conference delegates were invited to participate in thought-provoking workshops, which emphasised the need to re-visit ‘first principles of best practice’ in accordance with the Caremark model.

“Many thanks to the whole team for another inspiring Annual Conference,” said Dinah Madelin, joint franchise owner of Caremark West Oxfordshire and Cherwell. “John and I both felt we gained so much, from the programmed talks and group meetings to the opportunity to ‘network’ and ‘share’ with our fellow franchise owners.”
