McDonald’s has named its new Regional Chief, who will head the chain’s European division and will be in charge of its logistics and real estate operations, as Doug Goare.

In his new role Goare, 59, will be responsible for overseeing McDonald’s 7,000 restaurants across Europe. He will relocate to the company’s head office in Geneva when he takes up the role early next month.
