Bluebird Care Awards Recognise High Achievers

The Franchise of the Year award 2013 went to David Mitchell and Maria Leonard of Bluebird Care (Richmond and Twickenham) for having run such a prosperous business for more than five years. The pair have recently renewed their franchise agreement. David said upon winning his award: “Being up against such incredibly talented and successful finalists, we really did not expect to win this award, we are absolutely delighted to be considered in such high regard.”

Looking to the future, David said of his growing business prospects: “We are still only scratching the surface of the potential in our territory and we are already working on our next five year plan.”To their delight, David and Maria have been invited to attend the Interim Healthcare conference in Florida as part of their award.

Other award winners at the annual conference included Peter and Maria Slough of Bluebird Care (Westminster) who took the Brand Champion title and Paul and Kate Berry, who won the Directors Award for Outstanding Achievement, their Chichester, Sussex Weald, Reigate Epsom and Sutton locations having all generated impressive successes.



Premier Business Group Grows

The conference provided the ideal forum to officially welcome the latest members to the high achieving Bluebird Care Premier Business Group. High Achieving Bluebird Care franchise owners benefit from this specially designed group, which tackles issues with extra specialist support and bespoke business strategies.

At the conference it was announced that two more successful Bluebird franchise owners, in Larry Berkowitz of Bluebird (Barnet) and Melvyn Plum of Bluebird Care (Colchester and Tendring) would be proudly joining the group.

Franchise owners that develop their business to unprecedented levels of operation gain the undivided support of Business Strategist, Tracy Owens, who previously supported the Northern Region of Bluebird Care as Business Development Manager.
