What will your role be?

As a franchisee, you will be marketing our service supplying the highest quality made-to-measure suits and separates, all with bespoke details. You will work from home, visiting client’s offices and homes; helping them to look and feel their best. Your clients will be professional people of all ages; many are time poor and will appreciate your help.

We don't need…

Suit the City are most definitely not looking for tailors – we have plenty already! You will not be cutting out patterns or sitting at a sewing machine! We use the latest technology and expert tailors to produce beautiful garments in our factories in Europe.We do not want retail outlets; our business model is designed to create happy clients and for you to make money, not to keep landlords in Bentleys!

What is Suit the City looking for?

We are looking to recruit successful business people to sell our beautiful suits and separates across the UK.A Suit the City franchise is the perfect business opportunity for ambitious, highly motivated, well-connected individuals that love clothes and meeting people. You will need to have an aptitude for selling and be committed to providing excellent service. You must be prepared to work hard, although this kind of work is a pleasure, as most business comes via word of mouth; so networking and socialising is all part of your role. When people ask about the service, they always want to know more and new business can come from the most unlikely sources.

Training and Support

During your initial training, the Directors will help you plan your marketing launch, advertising and ongoing campaigns; you will also receive intensive training on measuring. It is vital that you throw yourself into this to get your business started.In addition, you will also enjoy style, image and colour training, this will help you to advise your clients and allow you to build bridges with your local image consultants.We teach you everything you need to know, so you must be willing to learn – we guarantee our support all the way.

Your Investment

The initial investment for a Suit the City franchise is £19,950 +VAT. The monthly Marketing Levy of £195 + VAT (£300 in London) will pay for specific local advertising in your territory for the first three months while you train. After three months it is put towards the national advertising budget. As with most franchises, there is also a management services fee of 10 per cent of your turnover (net of VAT) to cover the cost of the ongoing support that is offered.

You can start marketing your business as soon as you have signed the contract, meaning you can hit the ground running while still in training, providing you with a more rapid return on your investment.
