Largest franchise exhibition in the UK offers exciting opportunities to entrepreneurs

This autumn, aspiring franchise owners are invited to attend The National Franchise Exhibition at Birmingham’s NEC to explore the huge array of successful franchise brands.

Now in its 21st year, The National Franchise Exhibition is an ideal opportunity to research the industry and meet with hundreds of industry experts, franchise brands and established franchise owners.

The event is exclusively in association with the British Franchise Association (bfa). Pip Wilkins, Head of Operations at the bfa, sheds light on the benefit of this partnership to attendees: “By working closely with The Franchise Exhibitions organisers, we can ensure that only brands that adhere to the bfa’s ethical franchising guidelines receive accreditation and are present at the shows.”

The event is sponsored by no.1 health and fitness franchise, Anytime Fitness, and expected to attract thousands of visitors from across the UK. Those interested in attending can book Free tickets at www.FranchiseTickets.co.uk, using promo code FMG3.

Lizzie from Southampton visited The National Franchise Exhibition last year and said: “The exhibition has been an eye opener for me. I was interested in franchising and so far this exhibition has offered me plenty of information, it’s a fantastic starting point. I saw the exhibition come up online whilst I was researching and was just perfect timing. I registered immediately and just had to make sure I came. I came with particular interest in McDonald’s who I had a really interested discussion with and have booked a follow up meeting.”

Representing a wide range of sectors including healthcare, food and drink, fitness, recruitment, cleaning, and property, the event is a must-attend for anyone considering the franchise business model. Among the established brands attending this year will be Dublecheck, Anytime Fitness McDonald’s, Platinum Property Partners, thebestof, Expense Reduction Analysts, Kare Plus and many more.

As well as getting face-to-face with franchise brands, visitors can also experience an extensive seminar programme, all of which is free to attend. The bfa will be facilitating a series of seminars that will cover a number of interesting topics and will offer essential legal and financial advice. Another popular feature are the McDonald’s Open Sessions, giving visitors an insight into one of the world’s largest brands.

Attendees can gain an insight into what life is like for existing franchisees at the Real Franchise Stories panels and hear from those who have taken the next step and are now operating as franchisees for an established brand.
