Autosheen’s General Manager, Adrian Stiehl, has been accredited as a Licentiate of the IMI (Institute of Motor Industry). Stiehl has become a Licentiate based on his achievements and experience over his 35 years in the motoring industry, recognising his professional experience as a trainer within the valeting industry.

Stiehl said: “It is an honour to achieve this accreditation, which reflect my own and Autosheen’s professionalism and commitment to the motor industry. Autosheen is proud to be the only valeting company to be an IMI accredited training centre, which provides independent recognition that we operate to professional standards and are committed to a code of conduct.”

Head of Professional Development at IMI, Lesley Woolley said: “This sector plays an important role in our lives and our economy, and membership of the IMI is a means of identifying those working in the motor industry who have shown that they really are proud to be professional.”

A spokesman from the Institue of Motoring said: “In an increasingly complex and higly competitive industry it’s reassuring to know who the professionals are when it comes to things like buying a vehicle, financing it and getting it looked after.” Membership of the IMI is awarded on the basis of qualifications and experience within the industry. It also offers a continuing professional development programme, which helps members keep up-to-date in their respective discipline.
