Autosheen has been awarded a major national contract, which the company conservatively estimates to be worth £4.2 million over the next three years.

According to Autosheen Managing Director Paul Fennell, the contract for Autosheen franchise owners to apply Tribos specialist coatings represents the largest contract yet seen in the UK valeting industry.

Fennell said: “Two key elements secured this valuable contract for Autosheen. Firstly, the reputation and standing of our parent company Farecla within the automotive OEM sector, and secondly the fact that Autosheen franchise owners are trained to IMI (Institute of Motoring Industry) quality standards, which is unique in this industry. We are thrilled to have been appointed by Tribos Coatings, who described the fit between our two companies as ‘hand in glove’!”

Fennell added that if targeted sales were achieved by Tribos, Autosheen franchise owners could individually expect sales up to the value of £100,000 over the three years.

“The new Autosheen franchise package will include access to Tribos business as well as a robust, weatherproof 6 x 3 meter marquee worth £1,000, able to accommodate fully large 4x4 vehicles, and strongly branded with Autosheen Farecla and Tribos,” Fennell added.

“As a special deal, any new franchise owners signing up with Autosheen before the end of 2011 will be eligible for the complete new franchise package at our existing price of £12,995. From next year, however, the franchise price will increase to reflect the additional value Autosheen can now deliver with Tribos.”

Tribos is well established in the marine industry, which is also a strong market for Farecla and a target for Autosheen. In the automotive marketplace, Tribos has already been selected by Nissan’s network of High Performance Centres, and is making strong inroads into the UK dealership network. Tribos will also be promoting Autosheen on its website as its recommended valeter for private motorists.
