Card Connections, which publishes and distributes greeting cards, has new franchise opportunities in the South of England.

The company has revealed that it is now looking to recruit franchise owners to deliver its extensive range of more than 1,500 greeting cards and gifts to retailers in several territories across the South.

Andrew Cutlet, Sales and Franchise Director at Card Connections, said: “We have 70 franchise owners in the UK and, as an established franchise organisation of almost 20 years, no new territories are available. However, due to retirement or personal reasons occasionally a franchise area comes up for sale. These exciting opportunities offer the chance to take over established businesses, earning income from day one.”

Card Connection states that it is one of the UK’s largest card publishers and a market leader in the franchised distribution of greeting cards. Using a proven system, franchise owners place greeting card ranges in retail outlets on a ‘consignment’ basis. This means the stock and display equipment is installed on free loan to the retailer. This is one step beyond ‘sale or return’ as Card Connection customers never have to buy the stock in the first place, only paying for what they sell. Franchise owners supply national account customers including Budgens, Londis, Palmer & Harvey, Total, BP, WHS Travel, plus many independent retailers.

Card Connection franchise areas available in the South of England now include: Plymouth, Enfield/Hertford, Luton, Milton Keynes, Brighton/Eastbourne and London West and North.

Cutler added: “Most of these franchises supply a balanced mix of both urban and rural retail stores. In addition, many have untapped potential and give the opportunity to build a successful business within some of the UK’s most economically vibrant regions.”
