A new franchise resale opportunity has become available as Card Connection reveals that its Brighton and Eastbourne territory is on the market.

According to Card Connection this franchise has annual sales of over £100,000 and is an established business that has further potential to expand.

Andrew Cutler, Sales and Franchise Director at Card Connection, said: “Brighton and Eastbourne is an affluent area. The territory stretches from Pevensey to Portslade on the south coast and up to Burgess Hill and Crowborough. Turnover and margin has been developed significantly by the current franchise owner and 165 retail outlets are regularly supplied with Card Connection’s quality greeting cards and gifts. However, there is still further potential to expand the business.”

Card Connection franchise owners hand pick and deliver greeting cards from a range of 1,500 designs including: Sante, humour, handmade, and special occasions cards. Using a proven system, franchise owners place greeting card ranges in retail outlets on a ‘consignment’ basis.

Franchise owners also merchandise stock within retail outlets to ensure seasonal product is always up-to-date and displays look fresh and appealing to consumers. As well as many independent stores, Card Connection franchise owners also supply other key national accounts in this way, including: BP, Costcutter, Londis, Netto, Budgens, Spar, Haldanes and WHS Travel.

Card Connection is looking for franchise owners who have some management experience as, once established, they would be expected to employ a small team, operate a warehouse and have several liveried vans on the road.

The investment required to purchase the Brighton and Eastbourne territory is £37,500 plus stock and display equipment.
