The Commission for Social Care Inspection, regulator of the Social Care sector awarded the 'Excellent' rating following an inspection of the service in October 2008. The Inspection involved feedback from Caremark (Pulborough) clients, checks on client and care worker files and assessments of internal policies and procedures.

CSCI commented that Caremark's care plans showed 'excellent management' and clients receive personal care that is 'given with sensitivity and with regards to retaining clients' privacy and dignity'. Staff recruitment processes were praised for being 'well managed' and 'staff are trained in keeping with legal requirements'.

Managing Director, Kevin Lewis praised the Caremark team and commented that he felt the 'Excellent' rating truly reflected the service and staff that worked at Caremark (Pulborough) and across the Caremark network: 'We really do pride ourselves on the mark of excellence and it is fantastic to have achieved such recognition and status'.

Caremark Ltd has also recently been awarded ISO9001 across all of its 32 offices, which is an indication of the high standard policies and procedures that are in operation throughout the network. Annual independent audits will be carried out and Caremark is very committed to working with ISO9001 to ensure its policies and procedures are always of the highest possible standard nationally.
