'The company is delighted to have been invited to join DHL in making parcel delivery so much more straightforward,' said Jon Cullen, Cartridge World Managing Director. 'DHL are very protective of their service standards, so it is a great compliment that they trust Cartridge World to be one of their High Street interfaces with the public. It means the franchisees have an additional revenue stream and can offer customers parcel post services from our counters, but with the Global logistics know-how of DHL behind us.

'Franchisees have been trained to help customers through the DHL delivery booking system, to provide them with free packaging and to make the process as simple and painless as possible. After the parcel is dispatched from Cartridge World, our customers can even track it online at DHL's website.'

Through the initiative, customers and small businesses are able to send packages worldwide while shopping, without the need for a business account or the hassle of dropping the parcel off at a DHL depot.

Alan Winter from DHL adds: 'DHL needs well-trained staff that really understand the service ethos. I have chosen partners who are used to spending time with their customers and providing a personal service. The DHL EXPRESS4YOU service is very straightforward for the customer to use, but the person booking the delivery needs to understand the system and appreciate how important efficiency and reliability is. That's why Cartridge World franchisees are ideal.'
