Cash Converters is recognised for support of children's charity
Cash Converters, a pre-owned and nearly new goods retail franchise, has been recognised for its support of the Dreams Come True charity. The company was recognised by industry body the National Pawnbrokers Association (NPA) for its support of the national children's charity.

Every Cash Converters store is selling Dreams Come True pin badges and a charity ball was held in London in November. Stores are also undertaking their own fundraising, including fancy dress days and in-store competitions.
So far six dreams have been fulfilled by the charity thanks to Cash Converters' support. John Nichols, NPA President, said: 'Cash Converters has truly committed to supporting this incredibly inspiring charity. Their support is given whole heartedly and is evident across every area of the business. No opportunity to promote the charity is missed and everyone within Cash Converters has worked hard to make the partnership work 100 per cent for Dreams Come True.'
Mark Lemmon, Chief Executive of Cash Converters, commented: 'We chose Dreams Come True because we wanted to be able to support a charity that is close to the hearts of our staff and customers. The great work done so far is only possible thanks to the generosity of our franchisees, employees and customers.
'We can very clearly see the difference we are making to children with life threatening and long term illness and we intend to continue and build on our support so that many more dreams can come true.'
Peter Newman, Chief Executive at Dreams Come True, said: 'We are very grateful to Cash Converters for their support. Stores UK-wide have got behind the fundraising ideas and many are going above and beyond with events of their own. We rely on the support of our fundraisers and we are extremely impressed by the direction Cash Converters has already given to the charity to date.'
