Certax Accounting has granted a third term to its first franchise operation, owned by Steve and Jan Fenn and their daughter Victoria Sharp. The trio have completed 10 years with the accountancy franchise and their franchise agreement extension will take them through to 2015.

"We are all delighted that Steve, Jan and Victoria have decided to renew for a further five years," said the company's Founder Keith Bradshaw. "The commitment they have shown to us from the start has been remarkable. We look forward to supporting them over the coming years."

With almost 600 clients on their books, the trio based their decision to extend their franchise for another five years on the support they have received from Certax Accounting, both technical and in marketing. "The business has grown exponentially," said Steve, whose background prior to joining the franchise included communications, electronics, the police force, finance and semi-retirement. "Our daughter Victoria, who is AAT qualified has been appointed Managing Director of the Firm, whose role is in growing the company and moving it forward.

Victoria joined Certax in 2003 and took on the role of Managing Director in August 2008. She said: "I enjoy working alongside our strong team of people, meeting deadlines and providing excellent customer service. Considering the economic climate, I hope that we can continue to build the business as we have done, over the last 10 years. By continually improving our customer service and going from strength-to-strength."

Reflecting on the last 10 years, Keith added: "I can't believe its 10 years since our first training course! The quality and professionalism of the franchise has proven to be the foundation of our franchise being a success for many franchise owners."
