Franchisee Diary, Sam Stone
I was involved in the fitness industry as a sportsman and then a gym based fitness instructor for a number of years. Three years ago I felt that the time was right to start looking for the right business opportunity and decided to go down the franchise route.
I looked at all the gym franchises on the market but the start up costs and fixed overheads such as rent and rates were a bigger risk than I wanted to take on at the time. I was approached by Click Personal Training who was looking for a franchisee in the south, through a mutual fitness industry contact. I met Lynn Woods their managing director and the rest of the team and was immediately struck by their expertise and professionalism. In a surprisingly short time I made the decision to work with them. I'm very pleased I did. I love my new career and the one to one time that I spend with my clients. They achieve great results and it's rewarding for me as well. The feedback I receive from a client tells me when I have done a good job.
When I joined Click Personal Training I realised very quickly how effective their professional approach is in recruiting new clients and dealing with client bookings and other administration.
I do work hard but because I manage my own time I can keep on top of my other commitments and interests as well. All in all I'm very happy with the way things are going.
