ComputerXplorers Cotswolds continues to expand its business with the recruitment of nine new teachers, bringing the total number of teachers to 18 as the business celebrates its second anniversary.

ComputerXplorers will be increasing the number of weekly its classes from 28 to more than 35, educating more than 500 children per week.

ComputerXplorers doesn’t just offer after-school classes, it provides a one-stop shop to help schools meet ICT standards and can also be an innovative alternative to engaging supply cover for days when teachers have to be away from the classroom.

Nicola Petty set up the business in 2008 after taking voluntary redundancy from a major banking group where she was head of telephony and web. As the business expanded, her husband Andrew also left his job to join the business full-time as joint Managing Director.

Nicola Petty said: “We have some great teachers from a mix of backgrounds. But every one of them shares our two passions for teaching and ICT.

“ComputerXplorers Cotswolds has seen massive growth over the last two years. We’ve worked hard to build a business that is underpinned by excellence in quality and service and the results speak for themselves.”

Each ComputerXplorers business in the UK is independently owned and operated, delivering an extensive range of programmes using prepared lesson plans and curriculum developed by educational specialists.
