Domestic cleaning franchise Daily Poppins has reported that despite the economic climate it has seen growth in terms of the number of franchise owners and performance over the last few years.

Nigel Bearman, Managing Director of Daily Poppins, said: “Despite the doom and gloom painted by some, clearly the domestic cleaning market has not been impacted, as in the last five years, the number of territories we have franchised has quadrupled and our individual franchise owner performance has averaged a 22 per cent growth rate year-on-year.”

The attraction of Daily Poppins to the latest franchise owners Karen and Elton Nyamayaro who signed up in June 2012 for the New Forest territory was evident, they said: “It was an easy decision for us as we had looked at the market and the various competitors within the domestic cleaning market. The strength of the brand name together with a support package way ahead of the competition made us feel comfortable about taking that all-important step into self-employment.”

Daily Poppins is planning to expand its brand further in the UK and Ireland, and has recently moved into its new head office in Newbury. Bearman added: “As lifestyles continue to change with the increasing importance of work-life balance, we believe there are massive opportunities for both our existing network and those considering a franchise and it is our aim to have Daily Poppins represented in every area of the country.”
