Domino's Pizza strengthens Group Board with double promotion

Domino's Pizza, the UK and Ireland leader in pizza delivery, has today announced significant promotions for two members of its senior management team

Head of Foodservice, Gareth Franks, who began a career with Domino's over 15 years ago and Head of Marketing, Robin Auld, who joined in 2004, will join the Board of Domino's Pizza Group ('DPG') with immediate effect.

DPG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AIM-listed Domino's Pizza UK & IRL plc, holds the master licence to own, operate and franchise Domino's Pizza stores in the UK and Ireland and has its own Board. Gareth and Robin will join the DPG Board which is responsible for managing and expanding the company's 420+ store system.

Commenting on the promotions, Chief Executive of Domino's Pizza UK & IRL plc Stephen Hemsley, said, 'At Domino's, experienced people who appreciate the unique demands of a growing, franchised brand are the key to our success. We make it our business to retain the very best talent and I am delighted to recognise the outstanding contributions made by both Gareth and Robin.

'Gareth manages a team that provides a vital service within our business. Thanks to him, our stores are provided with the very highest quality ingredients and equipment so that they can give their customers a great experience.

'Robin has made a massive impact on our marketing campaigns since his arrival just under three years ago. His ability to integrate all disciplines within the marketing mix, and deliver high-impact, fresh news to our customers is clear.

'Both men have, in their own realms, contributed to consistent growth in sales and profits, enabling Domino's to continue its ambitious expansion plans.'

Gareth will now assume the title Foodservice Director and Robin will become Sales and Marketing Director.
