For the seventh year running Driver Hire was a finalist in the British Franchise Association (bfa) Franchisor of the Year awards - this year winning the Bronze award.

Driver Hire has over 90 franchised offices across the UK and provides temporary and permanent drivers and other logistics staff to local and national organisations. The company was named Franchisor of the Year Bronze winner at a glittering ceremony hosted by the bfa in association with HSBC and Express Newspapers.

Chris Chidley, Driver Hire’s CEO, said: “Everyone at Driver Hire is delighted at this latest accolade. Our entry was built around the outstanding support, business innovation and growth that Driver Hire has achieved in the past year, and it is very satisfying to have the efforts of the whole team recognised in this way.”

Also on the night, Autosmart was named Gold winner and Home Instead Senior Care was named Silver winner.

The judging panel was presented with outstanding examples of fresh thinking, brand development and franchise owner support, confirming that it has been another great and innovative year in UK franchising. Now in their 23rd year, the Awards continue to inspire the next generation of franchisors and franchise owners by highlighting the success and best practice driving our industry.”
