American franchise statistics prove the strength of franchising
According to Ahu Yildirmaz, senior director of the ADP Research Institute, the franchise employment growth rate is 2.7 per cent compared to the national average of 1.9 per cent
The data was collected by the ADP National Franchise Report, which measures monthly data changes in franchise employment derived from ADP’s actual transactional payroll data.
Yildirmaz commented: “Although there was a slowdown in franchise job creation in November compared to October’s report, a year-over-year analysis reveals the rate of employment growth among franchise businesses continues to outpace the national average. In fact, the franchise employment year-over-year growth rate is 2.7 per cent, compared to the national employment growth rate of 1.9 per cent.”
