Kare Plus franchise owners are gearing up to benefit from a multi-million pound national contract to provide specialised staff to support adults with learning difficulties.

Kare Plus is one of only five carefully selected staff providers to be nominated by Dimensions, a not-for-profit organisation that supports around 2,500 people with learning difficulties and autism from 17 different locations across England and Wales.

According to Steve Welsh, Managing Director of Kare Plus, the Dimensions contract is the first of a large number of current contract tenders to come to fruition and represents a major feather in the cap for Kare Plus.

“We have a significant number of contract tenders in hand for private sector and NHS work,” he explained. “The contract award from Dimensions is incredibly important for our brand in the care sector and will generate substantial work for franchises. Our rapid growth is driving a strong recruitment campaign for Kare Plus – at present we have a network of around 24 franchise owners, but we need to find more business minded, committed and ambitious people able to help us deliver the services our clients demand in regions all across the UK.”

Currently Kare Plus is tendering for contracts in the NHS worth around £140 million.
