Financial & commercial investigations franchise London House has announced the renewal of its Central London franchisee Dave Williams' franchise agreement for a third five year term. Dave was thanked for his commitment to London House, along with three other franchisees who signed their second terms in 2008, with a bottle of champagne at the company's recent franchisee conference.

'It was our biggest and best event yet, held in fantastic surroundings in The All England room at the famous National Badminton Centre in Milton Keynes, where the current England squad members train,' says London House Managing Director Godfrey Lancashire (pictured, L, presenting Dave Williams with his champagne). 'Everybody agreed the content was relevant, the speakers informative and entertaining and lunch and networking fun.

'One highlight was the annual presentation to the Franchisee of the Year chosen by voting from franchisees themselves using criteria such as: amount of work generated and distributed to the rest of the network, helpfulness and professionalism. Darren Ayres (Peterborough) was a very worthy winner.'

Darren was a speaker at the conference, providing his personal experience of improving local business development. Other presentations made at the event included an overview of the current banking climate by Russell Snowden of Independent Banking Consultants; a look at the differences between consumer and commercial insolvency by insolvency practitioner Peter Windatt; advice on maximising the benefits of membership of the Credit Services Association from its Head of Membership and Compliance Claire Aynsley; and an insight into the value of a PA/telephone service by Joanna Swash of Moneypenny.
