Ovenu franchisee celebrates record first year

Ovenu franchisee Clive Wallace from North Common, South Gloucestershire is celebrating a record first year in business.

Clive has already valeted over 300 ovens throughout the South Cotswolds area for private householders, letting agents, landlords and publicans and has a record number of bookings even during the quiet summer months.

Managing Director of Ovenu Rik Hellewell said: 'Clive's a motivated and ambitious individual and it's great to see him develop the business so successfully. I'm sure his operation will continue to go from strength to strength.'

Before he became a franchisee Clive worked for 29 years in banking. 'As someone with a corporate background, including over 15 years as a business bank manager, taking the step to launch my own franchise may have seemed quite a risk, especially in the current economic climate. But I'm now approaching the one-year anniversary of starting my Ovenu business and I'm literally run off my feet.

'I had financial expectations when I started and these have been far exceeded. However the main difference has been to my quality of life, which has improved dramatically. I am now my own boss, with a multi-client franchise offering and an established brand name and supportive framework behind me.'
