Heading the first Spanish Pitman Training centre is Marta Garcia, former Pitman student said" “It’s time Pitman Training gave the opportunity to change careers, transform lives and maximise staff potential to the citizens of Barcelona.”

Marta, who came to England in 2003, studied Effective Business Communication at Pitman Training, Holburn, in 2004, and said; “I think people who train at Pitman Training can boost their career as it happened to me. After I completed the course I found my dream job in London.”

Marta seized the opportunity to become a franchise partner in 2012, she said; “I had meetings in London with Andrew Walters, Franchise Sales Director, a couple of times before I finally took the plunge. In one meeting he arranged visits to centres in London which helped me gather a great insight in to how the centres work. The help and support I have received from Andrew and the rest of the Head Office team over the past year or so has been brilliant.”

When asked why she feels Pitman Training will work well in Barcelona, Marta said; “Pitman Training is a full member of the British Franchise Association and a top business Superbrand™. It has over 175 years of experience in enabling millions to access learning and its expanding growth towards international markets means that being trained by Pitman has the same value and recognition abroad as if being studied in the UK, which is a huge benefit and advantage for citizens of Barcelona.”

After studying with us in London, we are delighted to have been working closely with Marta over the last year on the plans to enter what is a dynamic and exciting market in Barcelona.
