Raring2go! franchisee doubles territory size

Raring2go! franchisee Victorian Drysdale is celebrating her first year in business by doubling the size of her territory to cover Aberdeen City as well as Aberdeenshire areas.

Raring2go! offers a what's on guide for children up to the age of 12 in their local area. The aim of the guide is to help parents plan weekends and holidays in advance improving the quality of the time they spend with their children. Determined for her what's on guide to become the definitive source of information for families within the Aberdeen region, Victoria has targeted Aberdeen City Council Primary Schools, the majority of Aberdeenshire Primary Schools, 15 private nurseries, 21 playgroups and all Aberdeenshire libraries.

Victoria says: 'It's sometimes really hard for local businesses to ensure they are talking directly to their audience. It's also really hard for parents to find out what's going on in the area as there is no one single source of information of this nature. So Raring2go! is unique because it is free and is delivered directly into parents' hands through their children's school book bags.

'On a personal note, I find that having a young child ideally you need flexible working hours. So Raring2go! has been great for me because I can work from home and if I need to go out and check out the local gems in the area, I take my daughter with me and she tries them out!'
