Recognition Express Cornwall opens

Local businessman Rob Rogers is launching Redruth-based Recognition Express Cornwall to enjoy the benefits of a supportive franchise and improve his work-life balance.

Recognition Express is a leading franchise organisation, specialising in corporate recognition goods such as name badges, branded promotional products, business gifts and signs. Through RNIB-approved training, Recognition Express Cornwall can also provide signage with braille and tactile wording, in accordance with the 2004 revisions to the Disability Discrimination Act.

Rob spent the last 17 years working as a Business Manager for McDonald's Restaurants across the Southwest. He decided that by running his own business he would directly reap the benefits of his hard work. While understanding that the first year in any new business is not expected to be easy, he is enthusiastic about the opportunity and has big plans for the future.

'I am looking forward to the challenge and am ready to put in the effort that I'm sure will be needed to get the business up and running,' explains Rob. 'I am hoping to move into a commercial property within a year and am aiming to purchase another Recognition Express franchise within two years.'
