Visitors have the opportunity to maximise their day by organising in advance which companies in particular they would like to meet with over the two days. The related website offers visitors the chance to browse the list of exhibitors and use the pre-booked appointments system to plan meetings around the comprehensive on-site seminar programme.

The seminar programme is designed to provide an array of invaluable information about franchising. Industry experts from the British Franchise Association (bfa), members of the legal and finance professions, business advisors, franchisors and successful franchise owners will all be on hand to answer questions. The aim is to provide potential franchise owners with the fundamental grounding they will need to proceed.

There will also be a series of clinics where visitors can drop in to seek assistance, or arrange meetings at a specific time (through the pre-booked appointments system, available via the website). These clinics offer free advice from industry experts and are not to be missed.

The Careers Clinic is a great starting point. The experts there will help visitors to identify their skills and focus their aims so that they come away with a clear and realistic career plan of what type of businesses would best match their interests and skills. The next step may well be a visit to the Expert Advice Clinic where visitors can ask any in-depth questions they have to franchise experts. Whether it is about contract terms, training or marketing support, there will be lawyers, bankers and consultants available to offer free one-on-one advice.

For those wanting assistance with financial issues, The Finance Clinic is specifically designed to help with business plans and financial advice. The majority of individuals investing in franchising will need to raise the funds to do so and the experts here will be on-hand to answer questions arising at any stage of the process, whether they are looking for suggestions on where to source funding, or have already started the process of applying for a loan.

All the franchises at The National Franchise Exhibition have been fully vetted by the bfa to ensure that they adhere to the association’s strict code of ethics. This means that visitors can trust and have complete confidence in all the companies they meet at the event.

The National Franchise Exhibition is open from 10am each day, closing at 5pm on Friday and 4pm on Saturday. Admission on the door is £15, however visitors can gain free admission by using the promo code TFMNFA when they register online. n
