When husband and wife team Colin and Lynsey Hart set up their Babyprints business they never imagined that 10 years on it would generate a network of 23 franchise owners in the UK and Ireland and one in South Africa.
The couple set up their business after Mrs Hart took a clay impression of their then baby Jack’s hand, which sparked to so much interest among friends and family she spotted a potential business venture. Over the years the business has gown its product range and now offers three dimensional casts, cold metal casting statues as well as the original clay impressions. Another popular product range is the baby/child’s casts together with a photograph in the same frame.
The Babyprints franchise was launched in 2006 to great success with the couple signing up six new franchise owners in its early years. The brand quickly expanded oversees with the launch of its County Kildare business and last year saw its growth into the South Africa market (pictured).
Babyprints is a home-based franchise opportunity. The company prides itself on the support its offers to its franchise owners. For a one off investments franchise owners get intensive training, a comprehensive manual, starter pack of materials and tools, an exclusive territory to work from, support with marketing and a dedicated page that they can use to promote their own events.
This franchise opportunity is ideally suited to parents, particularly mothers wanting to fit work around family life. The company is looking for potential franchise owners who have enthusiasm, commitment, self-motivation and should not be afraid of getting their hands dirty.
