Online mobile tyre fitting company etyres has won the 2011 bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year bronze award in recognition of its success over the last year.
Despite the economic climate etyres has seen its sales and profits increase this year, which has benefited both the company and its network of franchise owners. Tony Bowman, Managing Director of etyres, said: “Building an innovative, efficient and sustainable business has helped us to attract and retain some fantastic franchise owners, which has been the key to our growing success as a franchisor.
“Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do and we have a branch network of franchise owners who consistently deliver great customer service.
“Receiving this award is wonderful recognition of this, as well as a fantastic morale boost for our whole team.”
The judges, including the President of the British Franchise Association (bfa) Sir Bernard Ingham, were looking to reward franchisors that strive for excellence and set the example for others to follow, from development in new systems to franchise support and from enterprising initiatives to outstanding ethical management.
Brian Smart, Director General of the bfa, said: “Our judging panel were presented with some of the best examples of innovation, brand development and franchise owner support that they have ever seen and it has been a privilege to recognise these truly outstanding franchisors. Each of our winners is a credit to the sector.”
